  1. Informal Resolution In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of the Website, services, or any agreement with Cannabis.org.uk, you and we agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by written notice. If resolution is not achieved within 30 days, the parties agree to proceed to mediation.
  2. Mediation All unresolved disputes shall be referred to confidential mediation in London, UK, administered by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), or another mutually agreed provider. The cost of mediation will initially be shared equally, unless otherwise agreed or determined by the mediator.
  3. Arbitration If mediation fails, all disputes shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration in London, in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996 and the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), or another recognised arbitral body. The arbitration shall be conducted in English before a single arbitrator.
    • The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.
    • Each party shall bear its own legal costs, but the arbitrator may award costs at their discretion.
    • Judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
  4. Class Action and Collective Claims Waiver You agree to resolve disputes solely in your individual capacity, and not as a claimant or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. Class arbitration and collective claims are not permitted.
  5. Exclusion of Courts Subject to mandatory legal rights, you and we agree to waive any right to initiate or participate in court proceedings, except for purposes of enforcing or challenging the arbitral award or injunctive relief.

Note for Consumers

If you are using this Website in a personal (non-business) capacity, nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the laws of England and Wales. You retain the right to bring claims before a court of competent jurisdiction.
